Selection criteria for HPLC column frits:
* 0.2 μm pore size frit is used to retain packing prepared from 3 μm particles.
* 2 μm pore size frit is used to retain larger particles.
* 0.2 – 20μ pore size option
* Ultrasonically cleanable.
* Requires special tools for mounting on both ends of the column.

- If the packing particle size is smaller than the frit’s pore size, there’s a risk of the frit getting clogged by the packing.
Replacement Frit Options:
- Available in both PTFE and PE.
- Come in a range of pore sizes to suit specific requirements.
- When selecting a frit, it’s essential to match the column’s inner diameter (ID) for a precise fit.

- Retain column packing effectively.
- Ensure uniform distribution of the sample into the column.

- Must be resilient, enduring pressures exceeding 6000 psi and highly corrosive conditions.
